If a vanity archival project overseen by a dictatorial site administrator can flourish and extrapolate (I’ll go so far as to say scale) into a mass individualism cyberpublishing undertaking, maybe it can happen here! Translation: This project has been great fun for me so far. I hope that you find this place and the content posted here interesting and are inspired to join in.
I don’t know where this site is going in terms of interactivity. For now, I enthusiastically invite anyone who has comments, questions, suggestions, etc., to send an e-mail to me (or Bunn Bunn, my principle collaborator in creating this site).
Also, and this speaks more to our raison d’être, anyone who might wish to submit their ORIGINAL writings, artwork, music, videos, etc. to me, feel free to do so in complete confidence. If I like it and if you give me permission, I will publish it here at holmes-i-presume.com. And I will take it down whenever you ask me to. It’s that simple.
Caveat: I may like something, but decide not to publish it. The metes and bounds of expression that I am willing to publish are unknowable at the present. Naturally, I retain 100% discretion in this regard. A content controlling proclivity emergent, you say? Sure. It’s my house.
Why am I creating and maintaining this website? Part of an explanation certainly relates to personal compulsions. Perhaps also by way of explanatory comment, Bunn Bunn often asserts that “[w]ithout delusions of grandeur, there can be no love or art.”
I hope to hear from all of you, and especially from talented yet undiscovered artists, thinkers and various heretofore unknown species of creative genius.
